The present writ petition has been directed against order dated 17.09.2017, passed by the Regional Director, National Council for Teacher Education.

Mr. Vivek Shrimali, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, at the outset submits that the petitioner has got an efficacious and statutory remedy under Section 18 of the NCTE Act

of 1993 and he further submits that the petition in hand suffers

from inordinate delay of four years.

¶19

As the petitioner is having efficacious statutory remedy under Section 18 of the Act of 1993, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter.

The writ petition is, therefore, not entertained.

¶21

Petitioner shall, however, be free to prefer an appeal under Section 18 of the Act of 1993, in accordance with law along with an application for condonation of dealy.

¶22

If the appeal is filed within a period of four weeks along with the application for condonation of delay, the Appellate Authority shall consider the same, in accordance with law, without being influenced by the fact that the petitioner’s writ petition has been dismissed by this Court.

Stay application also stands disposed of accordingly.
