Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to pursue the pending representation filed as Annex.10 alongwith writ petition.

Submissions have been made that representation was made long back, however, the respondents have not passed any order on the said representation and petitioner for no fault of his, is unnecessary being deprived of the promotion.

In view of the submissions made, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to pursue the pending representation.

The competent respondents are directed to decide the representation of the petitioner by way of a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order is placed by the petitioner with the respondents.

It would be open for the petitioner to file a fresh representation, if advised.
