In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, abundant caution is being taken while hearing the matters in Court.

Counsel for both the parties fairly submit that the matter can be resolved if pending appeal is finally decided by the court below on the next date fixed i.e. 12.03.2021.

Counsel for the respondent submits that only and only upto 15.03.2021 he shall not press the execution.

In light of assurance given by both the parties that final arguments shall be positively made before the learned court below on the date fixed i.e. 12.03.2021, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned court below to decide the appeal finally, being an eviction appeal, as the Legislature itself provides for expeditious disposal of the same within a period of 240 days.

It is made clear that both the parties shall not seek any further adjournment in the matter.
