The petitioner has applied for the post of Senior Scientist Officer (Photo Division) and when the petitioner was not called for the interview he approached this court by filing present writ petition.
During pendency of the writ petition the petitioner was allowed to participate in the selection process by interim order passed by this court. The petitioner appeared in the interview and result of the petitioner was produced before this court by the RPSC. The petitioner has secured 4.27 marks in the Screening Test, 16 marks in Academics and 19 marks in interview, he has obtained total 39.27 marks.

According to the result declared by the RPSC the cut off in the main Merit List is 60 in general category and in reserve list 50.27 in general category.
I have perused the result submitted by the RPSC.
The petitioner secured lower marks in the cut off therefore, no relief can be granted to the petitioner because he is lower in the merit.
Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed.
The result of the petitioner is handed over back to the counsel for the respondents.
