While inviting Court’s attention towards the list (Fasal Bima Suchi), learned counsel for the petitioners points out that the petitioners’ patwar halka has been wrongly inserted and due to which, they have not been able to receive the claim/amount in relation to agriculture insurance, though, the amount of premium has been deducted from petitioners’ account.

Learned counsel further submits that even the Managing Director of the respondent-Bank has accepted that incorrect entries have been made, though nothing has been done.

Without interfering in the present matter, the present writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent

authority/District Collector Nagaur to consider petitioners’ representation dated 05.04.2021 expeditiously.

For the purpose aforesaid, the petitioners may file a fresh representation before the competent authority along with the photocopies of the relevant documents, photocopy of the earlier representation and a certified copy of the order instant within a period of two weeks from today.

In case the representation is so addressed, the District Collector/competent authority shall do the needful, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks of receipt thereof.

It is made clear that aforesaid direction to decide the representation has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of petitioners’ grievance. The same may not be construed to be an order to decide the representation in a particular manner.

Stay petition also stands disposed of accordingly.
