This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner with a prayer to direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jodhpur Bench (for short ‘the CAT’) to exercise its jurisdiction vested by the statute while deciding the case of the petitioner expeditiously/time bound manner. The petitioner has also prayed for setting aside the order dated 10.7.2021 (Annex.9) whereby, he has been transferred from Jodhpur to Jaipur.
The petitioner is working in the Forest Department and is a member of the Indian Forest Services. He has

challenged his transfer order by way of OA before the CAT on various grounds.
The grievance of the petitioner raised in this writ petition is that neither the OA nor the stay application filed along with it, preferred by him before the CAT in July, 2021, has been decided. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also made submissions on the merits of the case, however, we are not inclined to entertain the said submissions as the challenge laid by the petitioner to his transfer order is already pending consideration before the CAT.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the material available on the record, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a request to the CAT to consider and decide the OA and the stay application filed along with it by the petitioner expeditiously.
