The matter was placed before the Lok Adalat today. The parties have settled the matter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The instant civil misc. appeal has been filed by the appellant(s)/claimant(s) for enhancement of compensation awarded to the appellant(s)/claimant(s) to the tune of Rs.1,73,500/- by the learned MACT, Bhadra, District Hanumangarh vide award dated 09.01.2013 in MAC Case No.15/2011.
With the agreement of both the parties, represented by their respective counsel, the compensation awarded by the learned Tribunal to the appellant(s)/claimant(s) is enhanced by a lumpsum amount of Rs.1,35,000/-, inclusive of all, in addition to earlier award. The respondent-Insurance C:ompany Limited shall deposit the enhanced compensation amount with the learned Tribunal within two months from today, failing which the Insurance Company shall pay the interest @ 9% per annum on the enhanced compensation amount, till actual payment is made. In view of the above, with the consent of both the parties, the instant civil misc. appeal is hereby disposed of.
