Despite efforts, counsel for the appellant could not be connected.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the conviction and sentence awarded to the accused appellant and fact that the accused appellant was on bail during trial, I deem it just and proper to suspend the sentence awarded to the appellant during the pendency of the appeal.
Accordingly, the application for suspension of sentence is allowed and it is ordered that the sentence awarded to accusedappellant Shakir Khan S/o Shakur Shah in Sessions Case
(2 of 2) [SOSA-460/2020]
No.13/2018 shall remain suspended; provided he furnishes a personal bond of Rs. 50,000/- and two sureties of Rs.25,000/each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court to the effect that he shall appear before this Court on 15.10.2020 as and when called upon to do so.
