Petitioner has filed the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India alleging that his answer sheets were not properly evaluated.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had applied for the post of Translator and had taken the examination of Hindi and English translation papers. However, petitioner was declared unsuccessful. Petitioner had answered the question papers to the best of his ability.
An advertisement was issued on 04.03.2017 by this Court for recruitment to the post of Translator. Petitioner applied for the said post and took the examination. However, none of the candidates was declared successful. A perusal of the answer sheets placed on record by the petitioner reveal that there were mistakes in the

answer submitted by the petitioner while translating from Hindi to English and from English to Hindi. It is not a case where the petitioner has alleged any mala-fide against anyone. Rather, in the present case, none of the candidates, who had taken the examination were declared successful. The post of Translator in this Court requires that the Translator should have the ability to correctly translate the documents handed over to him/her. Since the petitioner was unable to correctly translate from English to Hindi or vice versa , it can be said that petitioner was rightly declared unsuccessful.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, no ground for interference is made out.
Dismissed.
