Petitioner has filed the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking first regular parole of twenty days.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has undergone more than five years of custody and his jail conduct is satisfactory. Social Justice and Empowerment Department has also recommended the case of the petitioner for grant of parole vide report dated 17.2.2020 (copy placed on record by the State counsel).
Learned State Counsel has opposed the petition.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be just and expedient to order release of the petitioner on first regular parole for 20 days.
Accordingly, this petition is allowed. Petitioner be admitted to first regular parole for 20 days subject to the satisfaction of the respondent no.3.
