In view of the statement, which was recorded before the Registrar (Judicial) dated 7.3.2020 and the submissions made by the learned counsel that both the petitioners have attained majority, the FIR registered by the mother of the petitioner No.1 is prima facie found to be without any basis and continuing proceedings would amount to abuse of process of law.

Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, I am inclined to allow this petition and quash the proceedings initiated under FIR No.11/2019 registered at Police Station, Sapotara,
