In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, lawyers have been advised to refrain from coming to the Courts.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press this bail application, but seeks a direction for expeditious trial as only limited number of witnesses are left to be examined.
Consequently, the present bail application is dismissed as not pressed. However, the learned trial court is directed to complete the trial preferably within a period of eight months from today, strictly in accordance with law.
