Petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
Detenue-Suman Bai Yogi has been produced in the Court today. She has stated that she had performed marriage with Shakti Singh Jadaun of her own free will and is presently residing with him. She has also stated that she does not want to accompany the petitioner.
Admittedly, detenue is a major.
Learned counsel for respondent No.5 has submitted that detenue alongwith respondent No. 5 had moved a petition under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 in this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty and the said petition was disposed of vide order dated 17.06.2019. Learned counsel has placed on record copy of the order dated 17.06.2019 passed in S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 3745/2019.
Keeping in view the statement of the detenue, no further interference by this Court is called for.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
