The instant writ petition has been filed for seeking direction to Rent Tribunal, Jaipur Metropolitan (Senior Civil Judge & Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Jaipur Metropolitan) to decide the Eviction Petition No.530/2012 (CIS No.2897/2014) titled as Smt. Geeta Devi & Ors. Vs. Surendra Kumar Khandelwal.

Learned counsel submitted that the petitioners had filed eviction petition in the year 2012 and till date, the matter is not decided and the case has been adjourned from time to time.

Learned counsel has drawn attention of this Court towards the order-sheets, which have been recorded from time to time.

Learned counsel submitted that evidence of the plaintiffs is completed and witnesses of defendant-respondent have not been examined so far.

This Court finds that the matter relating to eviction requires urgent hearing. The Courts are also expected to make endeavour to decide such application in expeditious manner.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of and it is expected from the Rent Tribunal, Jaipur Metropolitan (Senior Civil Judge & Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Jaipur Metropolitan) to decide the Eviction Petition in expeditious manner and endeavour should be made to decide the said application within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
