By way of this writ petition, the petitioners have questioned action of the respondents for granting them semi permanent status as Beldar instead of post of Helper.
Learned counsel for the parties submit that the present writ petition stands covered by a decision of this Court dated 15.05.2013 rendered in the matter of Durga Singh Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. : SB Civil Writ Petition NO.2932/2009.
Accordingly, this writ petition is also disposed of in light of decision of this Court in the matter of Durga Singh’s case (supra)
The respondent are directed to confer semi permanent and permanent status upon the petitioners on the post of Helper instead of post of Beldar with effect from the date they become entitled for the same under the Rajasthan PWD (B&R) (including Gardens, Irrigation, Water Works and Ayurvedic Departments) Work-charged employees Service Rules, 1964. The petitioners shall be entitled for all the consequential benefits.
