Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking his transfer to his home town on account of his medical condition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is suffering from Renal failure and has undergone kidney transplantation on 06.06.2019. Petitioner requires continuous medical treatment and has to rush to the hospital off and on.

Hence, petitioner moved a representation (Annexure-3) that he may be transferred to a vacant post in his home town. However, no decision has been taken on the said representation so far. Learned counsel has further submitted that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondent Nos. 1 and 3 are directed to dispose of the representation (Annexure-3) moved by the petitioner within a specified time frame.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos. 1 and 3 to dispose of the representation (Annexure-3) moved by the petitioner sympathetically and the said representation be disposed of expeditiously preferably within two weeks from the receipt of the copy of this order.
