This Miscellaneous Petition has been preferred under section 482 Cr.P.C. praying that a direction be issued to the respondents for conducting prompt objective, impartial and expeditious investigation in an FIR No.61/2019 registered at Police Station, Harmadam, Jaipur (West), Jaipur for the offence under sections 420, 465,467,468,406, 471 and 120B IPC.

Mr. Ravi Jangir, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated at Bar that till today, investigation is still pending and that no report of the investigation has been filed before any of the Court so far.

Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, at the inception, to dispel the apprehension of the petitioner, has rendered an assurance that not only fair and expeditious

investigation shall be conducted by a gazetted sensitised police officer, but also the report qua the same along with the opinion of the Investigating Officer shall be submitted in the concerned Court within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by the Investigating Officer.

Upon the above mentioned assurance, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the present petition be disposed of in the light of the statement made by the learned Public Prosecutor.

Ordered accordingly.

A copy of this order under the seal and signature of the Court Master be given ‘dasti’ to the learned Public Prosecutor for forwarding the same to the concerned officials and for necessary compliance.
