Petitioner has preferred this misc. petition seeking quashing of criminal proceedings pending before the Additional Sessions Judge, Women Atrocities Case No.2, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur in Criminal Case No.29/2015.

It is contended by counsel for the petitioner that a compromise was filed before the Court below but the same was not attested as the offences were non-compoundable. It is contended that parties have amicably settled the dispute and are residing together for last about one year.

Complainant is present in person in the Court, who has not disputed the fact of parties having entered into a compromise and

she does not wish to proceed further in criminal case pending before the trial Court.

I have considered the contentions.

¶20

In view of the fact that parties have amicably settled the dispute and are residing together for last about one year and complainant does not wish to proceed further in criminal case, misc. petition is allowed. Proceedings pending before Additional Sessions Judge, Women Atrocities Case No.2, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur in Criminal Case No.29/2015 are quashed.
