AWARD OF LOK ADALAT

The matter was placed before the Lok Adalat today.
The parties have settled the matter through Lok Adalat as under:-
The MACT, Barmer by its judgment and award dated ## in MAC Case No.63812015 awarded a sum of Rs.3,58,639/- along with interest @ 9 % per annum.
With the consent of the parties, the claimanus would be entitled to further lump sum compensation of Rs.25,000/-. The enhanced amount of compensation be paid within a period of two months. In case, the amount is not paid within a period of two months, the Insurance Company would be liable to make payment of interest @ 9% per annum till actual payment on the above amount of compensation from the date of this order.
The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimanus.
In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of.
Record, if summoned, be sent back to the Tribunal.
