Learned counsel submits that accused-applicant is behind bars for last two years and hearing of the appeal is likely to take time thus application for suspension of sentence may be allowed.
We have considered the submission of learned counsel for accused-applicant and perused the record.
We find that after marshalling the evidence, the trial court has convicted and sentenced the accused-applicant. Life imprisonment with fine of Rs.20,000/-, in case of default to pay fine, to further undergo one year additional imprisonment has been given for the offence under Section 302 IPC. The accused-

applicant was not on bail during trial and otherwise hearing of the appeal can be expedited, provided applicant submits paper book. Accordingly, application for suspension of sentence is dismissed. Learned counsel for applicant is directed to produce the paper book. On its filing, let the criminal appeal be listed for hearing.
