The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the

following reliefs :-

“a) by an appropriate writ, order or direction, the result for the Physical Efficiency Test and any order denying the selection and appointment of the petitioner on the post of Jail Prahri on the ground of not completing the running within prescribed time in pursuance of the advertisement dated 29.10.2015 (Annex.2) may kindly be quashed and set aside.

b) by an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondents may kindly be directed to provide the information by recording videography regarding his physical efficiency test as he completed 26 rounds within prescribed time of 60 minutes for the post of Jail Prahri in pursuance of the advertisement dated 29.10.2015.

c) by an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondents

may kindly be directed to conduct the re-physical efficiency test for the petitioner for the post of Jail Prahri as re-scheduled in pursuance of the advertisement dated 29.10.2015.

d) by an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondents may kindly be directed to produce the relevant record of the selection and be directed to prepare a fresh merit list by giving required marks to the petitioner and if the petitioner otherwise is eligible then may be appointed on the post of Jail Prahri with all consequential benefits;

e) Any other appropriate writ, order or direction which this Hon`ble Court may deem just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may kindly be passed in favour of the petitioner.

f) Writ petition filed by the petitioner may kindly be allowed with costs.”

Counsel for the petitioner states at the outset that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation is considered by the respondents.

In light of such submission, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of 30 days from today.
