A letter has been received from the Additional Senior Civil Judge and Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate No.5, Rent Tribunal seeking extension of time in view of the order passed by this court dated 14.2.2018. The court vide aforesaid order dated 14.2.2018 directed to dispose of the case within three months.
Learned Presiding Officer submits that order of the Court was submitted before him on 23.3.2018 and time was sought by the petitioner for placing the documents and an application under Order 6 Rule 17 was also filed by the respondent and same was decided on 3.8.2018.
Learned Presiding Officer has sought time for extension as there are other 63 cases where the direction of such nature already issued by this court for completing trial within three months.
I have considered the letter and find that condition pointed out by the Presiding Officer are genuine. Accordingly, the Presiding

a period of six months hereinafter.
