Learned counsel for the State informs that necessary permission to hold a protest was granted; for protest to be held on 26^th , 27^th and 28^th October, 2018.

Thus, nothing survives for consideration in the writ petition. However, since Counsel for the petitioners wants it noted, we record that permission to hold a Dharna on 23.10.2018 was refused vide impugned communication dated 22.10.2018.

Counsel wants to know the reason for the same.

The reason is recorded in the order dated 22.10.2018. It would be useless to decided on the legality of the reasons contained in the impugned order dated 22.10.2018 for the reason it related to a permission sought for holding a Dharna on 23.10.2018. The same was refused. But, thereafter on three dates the permission for the Dharna was granted.

The petition is disposed of infructuous.
