The charge of lack of supervisory jurisdiction is not to check ‘day end collection report’ and as a result thereof the counter assistance causing loss to the postal department in a sum of ₹ 1,17,973/-. That the petitioner was a raw hand would be a matter of defense. That there was no lack of supervisory jurisdiction is also a matter of defense.
