This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners aggrieved against preparation of consolidated list of the eligible candidates for promotion from the post of Informatics Assistant to Assistant Programmer though the petitioners are governed by the provisions of the Rajasthan Scheduled Areas Subordinate Ministerial and

Class-IV Service (Recruitment & Other Service Conditions) Rules, 2014.

By order dated 26.07.2018, the respondents were directed to proceed with the promotion process but the result of the same was ordered not to be declared without leave of the Court.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the respondents have issued separate lists for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Area and those belonging to Non-TSP Area. The said lists have been placed on record.

With the preparation of two separate lists as prayed for by the petitioners in the present writ petition, the grievance raised by the petitioners have been taken care of.

In view thereof, the writ petition filed by the petitioners have been rendered infructuous, the same is, therefore, dismissed as having become infructuous. The respondents would be free to proceed with the promotion exercise based on the lists dated 06.11.2018 issued by them.
