This writ petition has been filed to seek emergent parole for treatment of petitioner’s wife as she has to undergo surgery of uterus. The prayer is accordingly to grant emergent parole under Rule 10-A of the Rajasthan Prisoners (Release on Parole) Rules, 1958.

A report about medical condition of petitioner’s wife was sought.

Learned Assistant Government Advocate submits that as per report given by S.H.O., Police Station- Mantown, District- Sawai Madhopur, petitioner’s wife need to undergo surgery.

In view of above, we are accepting the writ petition for emergent parole and direct the Superintendent, Central Jail, Sawai Madhopur to release the petitioner namely, Mohammad Matalub S/o Jahir Mohammad, on parole for a period of 15 days, which shall commence from the date of his release, upon furnishing his personal bond of Rs.50,000/- and one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Sawai Madhopur with the stipulation that he shall surrender himself and return back to the Central Jail, Sawai Madhopur. He shall maintain peace and tranquility during the period of parole which will include journey period also. In case, he fails to surrender on the stipulated day, the jail authority shall proceed in accordance with law.
