The instant writ misc. application has been filed on behalf of the petitioners with a prayer to correct the name of the petitioners in the cause title of S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012 (Om Singh & Ors. Vs. The District Collector, Sri Ganganagar & Ors.), which was decided on 23.08.2012.

It is averred in the instant writ misc. application that S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012 was filed by six legal representatives of Laxman Singh S/o Fateh Singh, By caste Rai Sikh, Resident of 22 MD, Tehsil Gharsana, District Sri Ganganagar. It is further averred in the instant application that though the petitioner No.2-Bhoor Singh and petitioner No.3-Manphool Singh are not the sons of Late Shri Laxman Singh but their names were shown in the cause title of S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012 as sons of Late Shri Laxman Singh inadvertently. It is further averred that as a matter of fact in place of Jag Dev Singh and Mahendra

Singh, who are the sons of Late Shri Laxman Singh, the names of petitioner No.2-Bhoor Singh and petitioner No.3-Manphool Singh were inadvertently mentioned in the cause title of S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012.

In support of the above contentions, an additional affidavit on behalf of Om Singh S/o. Late Shri Laxman Singh petitioner No.1 of S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012 has also been filed. Along with the said additional affidavit, a certificate issued by the Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, 2 GD-B, Panchayat Samiti Gharsana, District Sri Ganganagar is also annexed, which certifies that Smt. Ram Kaur, Om Singh, Preetam Kaur, Amarjeet Kaur, Jag Dev Singh and Mahendra Singh are the only legal representatives of Late Shri Laxman Singh.

No reply to the instant writ misc. application or counter to the additional affidavit are filed on behalf of the respondents.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ misc. application is allowed and it is ordered that in the order dated 23.08.2012 passed in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.6990/2012 (Om Singh & Ors. Vs. The District Collector, Sri Ganganagar & Ors.) names of petitioner Nos.2-Bhoor Singh and petitioner No.3-Manphool Singh be read as petitioner No.2Jag Dev Singh and petitioner No.3-Mahendra Singh .
