Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
On having considered the conviction and sentence awarded to the applicant as well as the fact that he was on bail during trial and the fact that the Revision Petition is admitted for hearing and the decision of the revision petition is likely to take time, but without expressing any final opinion on the merit and de-merit of the case, I am inclined to suspend the sentence awarded to
applicant/petitioner/accused during the pendency of the revision petition.

Accordingly, the application for suspension of sentence is allowed. It is ordered that the sentence awarded to accused-applicant Sanjeev Sharma in Criminal Case No. 241/96 on 17.11.2012 by Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate No. 2, Kota, which was affirmed by Appellate Court Learned Additional District Judge No. 1, Kota in Criminal Appeal No. 23/2012 decided on 06.01.2017 shall remain suspended on furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 1,00,000/- and two sureties bond of Rs. 50,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court to the effect that he shall appear before this Court on 02.03.2017 and as and when called upon to do so.
