After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, both the petitions are disposed of with the direction to investigating officer to conclude the investigation and file report of investigation in the court of competent jurisdiction within a period of two months. To allay the apprehension of the accused petitioners that fair investigation has not been carried, a further direction is issued that the investigation shall be supervised by a gazetted police
officer.
