Appellant has filed this appeal under Section 14-A(1) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as 'the SC & ST Act') seeking regular bail in F.I.R. No. 233/2017 registered at Police Station Laxmangarh, District Alwar for offence under Section 143, 341, 323, 342 Indian Penal Code 1860 and Section 3(i)(DA)(DHA) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant is not named in the FIR. In-fact, nine accused have been named in the FIR. Hence, no offence could be said to have bee.n '\ committed by the appellant. However, the appellant is ready to surrender before the concerned court.
Learned State Counsel, on the other hand, has opposed the appeal.
