None present for the petitioner. Mr. Shantanu Kumawat, for the respondent-Commission.
Mr. Shantanu Kumawat appearing on behalf of the respondent-Commission, referring to Para No.5 of the counter affidavit, submits that consequent to scrutiny of application forms, a merit list was drawn on 11th February, 2005, which was forwarded with recommendations for appointment to the post of Teacher Grade-III to the State Government on 2nd March, 2005.
It is further stated that the list of the successful candidates, who were declared successful in the result, declared on 21st November, 2005 also included the name of the petitioner. Thus, nothing substantial survives for adjudication in the matter.
The statement made in the counter affidavit has not been disputed by the petitioner by way of subsequent pleadings be it by additional affidavit or rejoinder.
In view of the above, nothing substantial survives for adjudication in the matter.
The writ petition is dismissed for having become infructuous, in view of the statement made in the counter affidavit.
The writ petition stands closed.
