This writ petition was filed by the petitioner aggrieved against the order dated 19.11.1999 passed by the Deputy Commissioner (Appeals), Commercial Taxes Department, Bikaner, whereby on an application filed by the petitioner alongwith appeal seeking stay of the demand, the Deputy Commissioner directed deposit of 20% of the demand and stayed rest of the demand for a period of six months.
During the pendency of the writ petition, on 23.10.2000, it was directed that no coercive measures be taken. Whereafter, by order dated 23.5.2001, the interim order was vacated.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the parties that the appeal itself has been disposed of by the Deputy Commissioner (Appeals), Commercial Taxes Department, Bikaner and in view

thereof, the petition itself has been rendered infructuous.
In view of the submissions made, the writ petition is
dismissed as having become infructuous.
