The petitioners herein are aggrieved with the action of the respondents in not considering their candidature in the General category. The prayer in the present petition is to allow them to migrate from Reserved category to General category.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents has objected to filing of the common petition by the candidates belonging to different districts.

On 19.03.2015, this Court has already given directions in connected S.B.Civil Writ Petition No.2522/2015, as under:-

“In view of the above, the following general order is passed :-

(1) The State shall publish a common notice for all the districts in the “Rajasthan Patrika”, “Dainik Bhaskar” and “Dainik Navjyoti” which are having mass circulation in the State of Rajasthan calling for the candidates who are covered in 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd category to file their representations on or before 15.04.2015.

(2) Such candidates will be provisionally allowed to participate in the selection process on the date fixed by the respondent State.

It is, however, clarified that no application or writ petition shall be entertained by this Court on behalf of a candidate after said cut off date i.e. 15.04.2015 on the ground that for some reason or other, he has not been able to file representation within the said stipulated period.

It is further clarified that this order shall not give any right to the petitioners to seek appointment and the parties will be bound by the orders passed by the Apex Court in the S.L.P.”

No separate order is required to be passed in the present petition. The petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate authority before 15^th May, 2015 with their representations and in case, they file their representations before 15^th May, 2015, they shall be allowed to participate in the selection process.

However, it is clarified that the above order does not entitle the petitioners to claim appointment and shall be subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition No.2522/2015.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
