Benefit, as per the UGC pay scale, with effect from 01.04.1980 to September, 2008 and also interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of filing of the writ petition till May, 2011 has been granted to petitioner. If any further grievance remains, the petitioner may avail fresh remedy.
With that liberty, contempt petition is dismissed.
