A prayer is made to direct the respondents to issue policies in
favour of 100 families represented through the petitioner, apart from a direction to release scholarship.
The reply to writ petition has been filed indicating that the proposal for insurance submitted by the petitioner was not accepted. The petitioner cannot claim benefits merely on tendering a meager amount of premium. Para 3 of the reply indicates that a letter was written on 07.02.2007 by the respondents asking for submission of a list of persons to be insured under the scheme. The petitioner avoided to submit details and now after defaulting therein, a prayer is to take benefit. A certificate that the member to be insured is not the head of BPL family, was required and demanded. It was never sent by the petitioner. I find that justification has been given by the respondents to deny the benefit.

petition filed in the year 2007, it is dismissed.
