Kamlendra Singh Vs State of Rajasthan and Anr.

It is stated that on a criminal complaint, an FIR was lodged and after filing the charge sheet, trial court took cognizance of the offence under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC. During pendency of the trial, settlement has been arrived at between the parties. An application for dropping criminal proceedings was filed before the trial court. The trial court dropped the proceedings for offence under section 420 IPC only. Hence, this misc. petition under sections 482 CrPC for dropping the proceedings for offence under sections 467, 468 and 471 IPC.

The criminal proceedings against the petitioner for offence under section 467, 468 and 471 IPC in criminal case No.1150/2010, titled as State versus Kamlendra Singh, pending before the Court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate No.4, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur are dropped.
