The amount of gratuity was sanctioned in favour of the petitioner vide order dated 14.8.2008 and by subsequent order benefit of leave encashment was sanctioned, still payment has not been made to him. Petitioner served even notice for demand of justice upon the respondents.

Looking to the grievance of the petitioner, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider

and decide the notice for demand of justice and take action in reference of their orders dated 14.8.2008 and subsequent order

dated 7.5.2012 for extension of benefit of leave encashment and gratuity, if aforesaid orders have not been withdrawn. The needful be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The petitioner would be at liberty to claim interest on the delayed payment by maintaining a separate representation which may also be considered by the respondents as per the provisions of law.
