The present application has filed at the behest of Paramjit Kaur and her children, for seeking transfer of the petition i.e. MACP-135-2023, titled ‘Paramjit Kaur and others v/s Kailash Chandra and others’, pending in Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Jalandhar and they seek transfer of the same to Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ferozepur.

It is submitted by the counsel for the applicants that the applicant No.1 is the widow of the deceased, Sukhjit Singh, who died in a motor vehicular accident. Earlier, she had filed claim petition, while she was residing in the matrimonial house at Jalandhar. However, now she has shifted to Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur, along with her children. In this context, she is seeking transfer of the pending claim petition.

On query by the court, it is submitted by the counsel for the applicants that the case is still at the stage of recording of the evidence of the claimant.
