The prayer in the present application is for dismissal of the main LPAs in the light of the judgment dated 16.04.2026 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 1996 of 2024, titled as ‘ Madan Singh versus State of Haryana’ .
Learned Senior counsel for the respondents submits that the present application may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.
However, a joint request has been made by learned counsel for both the parties that the main appeals be taken up for consideration today.
