Insurance Company directed to pay compensation of Rs.1,44,400/- as awarded by the Tribunal with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition (29.11.2001) till realization; after first satisfying the award, the Insurance Company may recover the awarded amount from the owner/insured with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of deposit till realization without filing a separate suit. Registry directed to email the authenticated copy of the award to the respondent Insurance Company per the Supreme Court's directions in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company v. Union of India (Writ Petition (Civil) No.534 of 2020, decided 16.03.2021), Clause (F). Pending miscellaneous applications stand disposed of.
