The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ o f mandamus d irecting the respondents to release the due payment o f ₹46,79,233 a long with interest, on account o f certain works executed by th e petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitio n er submits that at this stage, th e petitioner w i ll be satisfied in case responde n t no.4 is directed to decide hi s pending leg a l notice, dated 09.02.2026, Ann e xure P-8, in a specified period. 3. months and the due amount as found admissible will be released to the petitioner within four weeks thereafter.

In view of the statement made, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.

Ordered accordingly.

In case the decision is not taken on the pending legal notice and the due amount is not paid within the stipulated periods, the officer concerned shall pay costs of ₹50,000 to the petitioners.
