1. Despite the matter being called twice, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

2. Prayer in this Writ Petition is to command the respondents to consider the petitioner’s application for refund of `29,96,530/- in respect of the amount of VAT/TDS, wrongfully deducted and deposited with the respondents.

3. Learned State counsel placed before this Court order passed by the competent authority rejecting the claim of the petitioner for refund of the aforementioned amount.

4. In such circumstances, the cause raised in this writ petition no longer survives. Accordingly, while reserving liberty to the petitioner to pursue an appropriate remedy against the order rejecting its claim, the writ petition stands dismissed .
