1 . Learned counsel submits that the tentative seniority list dated 16.06.2026, Annexure P-15 has been circulated and objections thereto have been invited and accordingly submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure P-16, however, the same have not been decided, while the promotions have been made vide Annexure P-18, of certain persons, who are senior and now proceeding to promote his juniors. In this regard, a representation dated 28.07.2026, Annexure P-19 has already been submitted, which has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner as also prays that till the finalisation of seniority list, the promotions be not made.

2 . Learned counsel for the respondents has obtain instructions and states that the seniority will be finalised within a period of 4 months, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law and
