The petition has been filed, i nter alia , seeking a writ o f mandamus di r ecting respondent no.4 - Ex e cutive Engineer, Punjab Stat e Power Corpo r ation Limited, to release an e lectricity connection in Cabi n no.98-A belo n ging to the petitioner at District Court, Roopnagar. 2. Roopnagar. T he electricity connection soug h t by him can be released onl y after issuance of the NOC, and the representation for the purpose is stil l pending. At t h is stage, the petitioner will be s atisfied in case respondent no. 7 is directed to d ecide the said representation in a specified period.

Learned State counsel sub m its that the aforementione d representation will be decided by respondent no.7, by passing a speaking/reas o ned order in accordance wit h law within a period of tw o months.

I n view of the statement made, l e arned counsel for the petitione r has no objecti o n to the petition being dispose d of in terms thereof.
