In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance o f direction to the respondents to issue arms license to the petitioner in a time bound manner. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits t hat the petitioner has sub m itted an application vide acknowle d gement receipt dated 10.10.2025 (Annexure P-1) for grant of arms lice n se, however, no decision has been taken by the respondents thereupon till date. He submits that the p e titioner has also submitted a represent a tion dated 16.01.2026 (Anne x ure P-2) before respondent No.4 to f o rward the report and for expedi t ing the police verification for the purp o se of grant of arms license in light of the abovesaid acknowle d gement receipt dated 10.10.2 0 25 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel, o n instructions from the petitio n er submits that the petitioner would be s atisfied, if at this stage, directi o n is given to respondent No.4
