Prayer in the present writ peti t ion is for issuing directions to the respo n dents to regularize the services o f the petitioner in accordance with Gov e rnment Policies (Annexures P-2 a n d P-3 respectively).

It is submitted by learned counsel for the State, on instructio n s from Mr. Charan Singh Rana, E x ecutive Engineer, PD-1, PWD (B&R), G urugram that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the claim of the petitioner has been acce p ted and the petitioner has been regularize d w.e.f. 01.10.2003 and thereafte r , the petitioner has now been retired.

09.8.2024 , 08.11.2024 and 02.12.2024. Even today there is no represent a tion on behalf of petitioner. Vi d e order dated 09.8.2024 when learned c o unsel for the petitioner had submi t ted that he had not been able to establish c ontact with his client, the co-ordi n ate Bench of this Court issued notice to t h e petitioner.

As per office report dated 05.11.2024, notice issued to the petitioner has been received back served. D espite that, on the next date of hearing i.e. 08.11.2024 none had appear e d for the petitioner and on 02.12.202 4 the matter was adjourned on re q uest of learned counsel for the petitioner.

Accordingly, in view of the statement made by learned counsel f o r the State, the present writ petitio n is disposed of as having been rendered i n fructuous.

However, in case anything su r vives, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive the present writ petition w ithin six weeks from today.
