After advancing arguments for some time, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent(s) to consider and decide their claims ( supra ), as raised in their earlier representations and/or as may be raised through fresh representations, within a stipulated time frame.

Learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to the issuance of a direction to the respondent(s) to consider and decide the claims of the petitioners in a time-bound manner.

In view of the above submissions, the present writ petitions are disposed of with a direction that, in the event the petitioners submit fresh representations seeking redressal of their grievances with regard to regularization and/or regularization with effect from the date on which their juniors were regularized, the competent authority among the respondents shall consider and decide the same within a period of six weeks thereafter, strictly in accordance with law and by giving them opportunity of hearing.

Needless to state, this Court has not observed anything regarding entitlement of the petitioners for regularization.

Pending applications also stand disposed of accordingly.
