The prayer clothed in the instant writ petition appertains to quashing of the order dated 20.04.2020, passed by the respondent No.2, whereby the monthly pension of the petitioner was reduced to ¹1,920/w.e.f. 19.02.2013, as against the earlier sanctioned amount of ¹21,131/-. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the controversy inhering the instant writ petition has already been set at rest by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court by delivering the order dated 05.11.2024 , in CWP-971-2021 (Ashok Kumar Mahajan vs. Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Chandigarh and others) and other connected writ petitions. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents fairly concede that the issue arising for consideration in the instant writ petition is squarely covered by the order dated 05.11.2024 passed in Ashok Kumar Mahajan (supra).

Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 05.11.2024, passed in CWP-971-2021.
