This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution

of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 10and not to harass and implicate the petitioners in any false criminal case and also directing the official respondents to decide the representation dated 05.09.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are in a live-in-relationship. The private respondents are not accepting the said relationship and are extending threats to them. The copies of 'Aadhaar' card (Annexures P-1 and P-2) of petitioners No.1 and 2 have been placed on record.

Without commenting on the legality of the relationship, and further keeping in view the law laid down by a Division Bench of this Court in Yash Pal and another versus State of Haryana and others (CRWP No. 4660 of 2021, decided on 09.09.2024), the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 05.09.2026 (Annexure P-3) and take requisite action, if so warranted, as per the facts and circumstances of the matter, in accordance with law.
