Prayer in the present civil revision is for setting aside the impugne d order dated 04.4.2015 (An n exure P-1) passed by the learned A dditional District Judge, Chan d igarh, whereby the objection petition f iled under Section 34 of the A rbitration and Conciliation Act, 199 6 against the Arbitration Award dated 04.10.2012 (Annexure P-3) file d by the respondents No.1 and 2 , has been accepted and the Award d a ted 04.10.2012 has been set asi d e.

The matter pertains to the year 2016 and notice of motion h a s not been issued till date. T h e order sheets show that as many as seven times the matter has be e n listed for hearing, out of which o n 04 dates i.e. 10.3.2017, 2 0.3.2018, 14.5.2019 and 24.2.202 3 there was no representation o n behalf of petitioner and on two date s i.e. 26.10.2026 and 04.9.2019 t he matter was adjourned on request of learned counsel for the petiti o ner. A bare reading of the a b ove facts shows that the petitione r has exhibited an utterly casual attitude in the pursuit of the present li t igation. It is to be appreciated t h at very valuable public time of the C o urt has been expended in a ff ording opportunities to the petitione r in the interest of justice. On t he other hand, the petitioner has adop t ed an utterly casual and careless approach. It is clear that neither t h e petitioner nor his counsel are seriously interested in pursuing the present matter. Thus, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the same for no n -prosecution.
